      II.2.4) Description of the procurement: Railway Housing Association is committed to continue its drive to improve operational efficiency, strengthen supply chain relationships, use innovative techniques and technologies, and deliver both commercial and social value to its customers.

Railway Housing Association is seeking to appoint a contractor to provide planned maintenance for kitchens/bathrooms/heating to properties across its portfolio. It should be noted that Railway Housing Association has a specification for kitchens/bathrooms and heating which suppliers must meet in order to be eligible for consideration. The specification is supplied as part of the tender documents.

The contract is for an initial 2 year period from 1st April 2019-31st March 2021 with the option to extend for three further one year periods. Railway Housing Associations programme of works is planned on an annual basis so the second year of the initial term is subject to satisfactory performance in year one and the continuation of the programme.
